Introduction to Yoga 6-week Courses

Learn the fundamentals of yoga asanas (poses) using principles of good alignment along with breath awareness and relaxation techniques. Students are guided at a gentle but dynamic pace through the foundations of the postures. You will also learn about breathing, be introduced to bandhas (core work) and the practice of staying alert and relaxed at the same time. Be prepared to work hard but intelligently.

You will receive focused attention and hands-on adjustments giving you the foundation to enter our ongoing classes. No specific fitness level is required as you'll be encouraged to work within your own abilities and limitations. This is also a great place to start if you have experience in a softer form of Hatha yoga. People love this course – and sometimes take it more than once!
