Simon Low (BWY & YA E-RYT 500) has been teaching yoga internationally for over 20 years. He was the original Director & a co-founder of London’s Triyoga, the UK’s most popular yoga studios, where he still teaches workshops & courses. As Principal of The Yoga Academy, one of the UK’s leading teacher training schools, Simon leads intensive teacher trainings in the UK & overseas while also running yoga weekends, workshops & holidays at home & abroad throughout the year. Originally training as a teacher & yoga therapist in the USA with Dr Larry Payne, over 20 years ago, in the tradition of TKV Desikachar, Simon is now one of the UK & Europe’s most respected teachers. Simon’s teachings are informed by his wide experience & study of many approaches to Hatha & Classical Yoga, movement & physical therapy, including Viniyoga, Iyengar Yoga, Astanga Vinyasa Yoga, Okido Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chi Kung, Pilates & The Alexander Technique. Simon regards his key human teachers & influences to be Dr Larry Payne, T.K.V Desikachar, A.G. Mohan, Erich Schiffmann, Donna Farhi, Tias Little, Sarah Powers, Paul & Suzee Grilley, Aadil Palkhivala, Julie Gudmestad, Joseph Goldstein & many other teachers & guides too numerous to mention.

Simon’s primary teacher lives within himself, a relationship he continues to cultivate with the help & guidance of some of the teachers named above & a host of additional sources of wisdom, love & support. Simon’s classes are diverse, focused & fun, balancing asana work, philosophy, & principles of chinese medicine & energy work, working toward a ‘balanced & complete’ yoga practice.
