Studio Hospitality Manager (28 hours)

Yoga Moves is dedicated to inspiring health, wellness, and wholeness into daily lives through the practice of yoga.

As our Studio Hospitality Manager, you’ll oversee the studio host and volunteer team across all Yoga Moves locations. You’ll also cover weekly front desk shifts to stay connected with studio operations and our community of clients and teachers.

You’re responsible for creating team schedules, ensuring shift coverage, and maintaining clean, welcoming studios. A people person at heart, you enjoy building relationships with your team and helping them feel connected to our mission. You’re organized, flexible, and available to support your team whenever they’re working.

Your goal is to keep the team motivated, capable, and aligned with our quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Senior Studio Host, Facility Manager, HR/Teacher & Classes manager and Classes Planner to keep front- and back-office operations running smoothly. You report to the General Manager.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

● You are managing the front office of our studios.

● For your team you are the main contact point across all Yoga Moves locations. You oversee their training and development in collaboration with HR.

● Your team consists of the Sr Host, hosts, volunteers (Karma cleaners) and Yogi coache(s).

● You cover front desk for about 8 hours a week in longer or shorter shifts preferable during the prime time classes which means there will also be evening and weekend shifts.

● You have a good oversight of what’s happening in the studios and our community.

● You are an expert in what’s on offer (classes, workshops, trainings, memberships, classcards, campaigns) and know how to work with our booking system Bsport. You are able to guide your team in these processes.

● You uphold the Yoga Moves standards for cleanliness and in collaboration with your team and the Facility manager make sure the studios are clean and well maintained.

● You monitor the work and quality of the front office team, and make sure they are well informed about the (latest) Yoga Moves policies and important updates.

● You ensure your team handles client questions correctly and in time.

● You are responsible for the resource scheduling of the studio hosts, volunteers and cleaning services, and keep the schedule aligned with the schedules for our classes, workshops and trainings.

● You are responsible for the cash admin in the studios.

● Approximately once every 6 weeks you take a ‘weekend on call’ shift, making sure you are available on the weekend to take calls and help out with emergencies if needed.

● You are happy to help out with other projects within Yoga Moves as needed.

Your profile

● You are a people person who is not shy to share constructive feedback.

● You are organised and able to oversee resource planning of your team across all Yoga Moves locations.

● You are client driven and recognize that our clients are all these people: students, teachers, masseuses.

● You are a team player;

● You are proactive, hands-on and can make decisions independently.

● Tech savvy - you do not shy away from using software.

● Your level of English is proficient, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

● You are interested in yoga and the yogic lifestyle.

● Your education is in hospitality and/or you have a couple of years of working experience in hospitality.
