Maszena Stanecka

Maszena always felt attracted to self discovery and eastern philosophy. She first read about yoga when she was still a teenager, in her early twenties she spent two years living in India and started exploring yoga in more depth.

The impact it had on her life and health felt so good, that she decided to enroll in a teacher training program. Since 2011 she has been teaching full time. She sees yoga as a truly holistic practice : it opens and heals the body, the mind and the heart!

Maszena draws her inspiration mainly from Shiva Rea’s Prana Vinyasa Yoga: an energetic approach, that invites you to open up to the flow of your life energy (Prana), natural happiness and the intuitive wisdom of the heart. She regularly follows teacher trainings with Shiva to deepen her own practice and knowledge.

Maszena loves teaching flow yoga as a movement meditation, where you move consciously in the rhythm of the breath. Breath awareness is for her an essential tool to create a state of presence and grounding. Known for her creative yet balanced sequencing, she keeps an good eye on alignment and accommodates different levels into her classes.

She emphasizes practicing with sensitivity, self compassion and humor. But most of all, she enjoys guiding you to tune in, to connect with your own inner teacher, your heart, strength and softness. Maszena’s aim in each class is to create an uplifting, safe sphere, in which you can relax into yourself   and open up to your unique potential.

She also gives classes in Relax & Renew yoga, stillness meditation, where body is supported in longer held comfortable poses, to facilitate deep relaxation and stress release.

Her motto is “All you need to be happy, is already in you. It’s here & now.”
