We’ve added something special to HOT Central: a barefoot path. It’s a small invitation to ground yourself before or after class.
Different textures
Our path is built with larger and smaller pebbles, wood chips, grass, sand. Each surface creates a different sensation, making every step a little journey in itself.
Why a barefoot path?
Walking barefoot has surprising benefits:
Grounding – direct contact with the earth calms your nervous system.
Awareness – feeling every step brings you into the present moment.
Massage effect – the different textures stimulate the reflex zones under your feet.
Preparation – just a few minutes on the path helps you arrive calmer and more focused.
Strength & balance – walking on varied surfaces strengthens your feet and ankles and improves stability.
Circulation – the gentle stimulation boosts blood flow and can leave your feet feeling more energized.
Caring for the path together
This path belongs to all of us. Please use it with care and help keep it pleasant: remove leaves, twigs, or weeds when you see them.
Clean feet before re-entering
After your barefoot walk, please make sure your feet are clean before you step back inside, so the studio stays fresh for everyone.
New benches in the garden
We’ve also added new benches in the garden – a wonderful spot to sit, talk, or relax before and after class. You’re welcome to stay outside after class, but please keep your voice low if another class is starting inside, so their practice remains undisturbed.
New yoga mats
And inside, you’ll now find our new black yoga mats. These mats were chosen for their comfort, grip, and clean design. We hope they contribute to your positive experience and help you feel supported during your practice at HOT Central.
