Meet our new Community Class teachers

Every Friday, our Community Classes offer space for new teachers to grow and for students to enjoy free yoga together. It’s one of the ways we stay connected as a learning community at Yoga Moves. Starting 28 November, two fresh graduates from our 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training will guide these classes: Birgit van Wieringen and Bianka Demeter.

About Birgit
Birgit’s yoga journey started in 2014, when she was looking for a way to ground more. While facing both physical and mental challenges, the non-competitive character of yoga felt liberating and encouraged her to continue practicing and exploring her body and mind. Yoga quickly became a big part of her life. Gaining awareness, freedom and connection in the present moment. Moving closer to a state of inner peace. Birgit likes to share the powerful benefits of yoga with others.

She completed the 200-hour Vinyasa Teaching Training at Yoga Moves in July 2025. In her classes she invites you to explore your body and mind as you move, breathe and be in stillness. Let’s together explore the reunion of effort and ease, strength and softness, breath and movement.

About Bianka
Bia was a gymnast in her youth, where she learned how to push her body to the limit and jam herself into all sorts of crazy positions. When she discovered yoga in her twenties, she had a lot to relearn. Now she turns to yoga as a way to reconnect with her body. While gymnastics emphasized pushing limits, yoga offers her the tools to move with curiosity. She brings this approach to her classes, encouraging students to find what feels good for them, in the moment, on that day. This makes her classes dynamic and playful. Breathwork is woven throughout her teaching, as she views the breath as a vital anchor for grounding. She integrates flow, strength, and breath awareness to create balanced practices that nurture both body and mind. Her intention is to provide a supportive space where students can release expectations, deepen their practice, and experience the joy of movement.

Community Classes

Every Friday, you can join a free Vinyasa yoga class that’s open to everyone, making yoga truly accessible for all. Each class is taught by a Yoga Moves Vinyasa Teacher Training graduate and welcomes all levels. You’ll explore moving with your breath, building strength and awareness, and finding your own rhythm. Most classes follow the set beginner sequence, but each teacher may bring in simple creative variations to share their own inspiration.

Come support our new teaching talent and experience the flow of breath and movement in a warm community setting.
Free for all to join!
