I understand that:

1. The General Conditions (algemene voorwaarden) of Yoga Moves BV apply to this training and are always available to see on: yogamoves.nl and conforms to Dutch business standards.

2. These specific conditions offer more specific conditions as applied to our teacher training programs.

3. When student fulfils the requirements of the Yoga Moves Teacher Training, including successful completion and passing of in-class hours, homework, and evaluations, s/he will receive a certificate of completion which can be submitted to Yoga Alliance.Org or a prospective employer as evidence of completion.

4. Paying for the program and completing the training hours alone does not mean student will gain the certificate of completion of the program.

5. All Yoga Moves Teacher Training materials are under copyright protection and cannot be reproduced without the permission of the author. Failure to comply may result in legal action.

6. The program may be primarily given in English and that I may choose to write my exams and papers in Dutch.

7. Homework activities will include the following, students will be spending at least 6-12 hours a week practicing, studying and learning about yoga.

8. Yoga Moves reserves the right to ask me to leave the program if student: is found plagiarising, if behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, negatively impacting other students learning, unethical or violations of the Yoga Alliance ethical guidelines. Under such circumstances, student will not be refunded tuition.

9. If student misses over 29 hours of training (including 10 penalty-free hours) they will receive a non-passing status. In addition, Yoga Moves has the right to ask student to leave the training (due to the disturbance it may cause).

10. Non-completion of a program: Student will have one year from the last day of the program to complete the requirements.

11. We encourage respect for our time together. When a student is late or leaves early more than 30 minutes, it is counted as a 1/4 day missing. Over one hour = missing a 1/2 day.

12. There are two options for making up missed time:
    Option 1: I can schedule a private session with a trainer at some point during the program. The cost of a private session ranges from €65-€95 per hour.
    Option 2: I can attend the missed hours/days in an upcoming training (max 4 days). I have one year from the program’s end date to complete the make-up classes.

13. Late assignments & taking longer to complete: If you are unable to attend a number of days, an exam or assignment or you have not completed the exam with good results, you will need to make an appointment to re-do that part. In some cases, this appointment will be in the next year/ season.Yoga Moves charges these fees:

    1. Course Extension request (taking longer to complete): if you need an extension there is an administration fee: €100

    2. Make up examination: (if you miss an exam, are late or have to re-do it). Including: the mid-term & end written or practical exam; anatomy & philosophy exam or paper: €75 per exam or paper.

    3. Late fee for papers and homework assignments: €35 per assignment.

    4. Make up Teacher Training days in another training program: €50 per day.

    5. Re-enrol in another training program (re-do total program): 30% discount (space permitting).

14. Making up days in future programs: All Make-Ups in upcoming trainings need to be pre-approved and coordinated via the Yoga Moves Training Department. Send an email with your specific request and ask for the approximate sessions/topics you missed, if applicable. You will be invoices in advance.

15. Re-enrolling in a new course: If you miss too many days in your course, or drop out to any circumstance, you may have the option to re-enrol in a future course at a discount of 30%. However, your spot is not automatic and is based on availability and your participation up to date. If the training is sold out, you will need to wait for a future training with space available to complete my make-up(s).

16. If student chooses to early cancel participation in course, they must send a letter by post or email to inform Yoga Moves (training@yogamoves.nl). The conditions are specified in our Teacher Training General Conditions but repeated here:

    1. More than 5 weeks before start date, you will be refunded the course fee less €100 administration fee.

    2. Less than 5 weeks before the start date, you may have 75% of your course fee refunded.

    3. After the start date of the course (including online participation) there are no refunds of money regardless of circumstances.

    4. Payments are non-transferable to other courses or people.

    5. Payments must be on time or a €25 fee or 10% admin fee (over the outstanding amount) will be billed (whichever is more).

17. Yoga Moves has the right to adapt the schedule for online and live classes as required due to COVID-19 rules or other unforeseeable circumstances.

18. Yoga Moves has the right to cancel the teacher training in case of not enough applicants or personal or business circumstances require it at any time. Yoga Moves will refund the full paid course fees within 21 working days after cancellation. We strive to inform within 3 weeks of a training if it is under-enrolled.

19. In case of a dispute, you can contact the Yoga Moves Teacher Training Department for advice on the complaints procedure or follow this procedure.
