Renske Mennen
At 28, Renske attended a yin yoga class, as she had done for several years. But this time, something was different. Her teacher spoke the words: "Learn to speak the language of your body." Something shifted in that moment, and she knew it was a sign for the next step on her path. Within a year, she became a yin yoga and meditation teacher.
Renske studied Buddhism and Chinese medicine, both of which serve as guiding principles in her classes. Later, she attended a 10-day Vipassana course, where she experienced the profound effects of meditation on a deep level within her body and mind. Since then, she has been passionate about helping others connect with their hearts and find inner peace.
As a coach, Renske works at the intersection of Eastern philosophy and Western science. She finds it fascinating that concepts shared for thousands of years are now being validated by Western science. At Yoga Moves, Renske teaches yin yoga & meditation.
