Free pregnancy yoga sessions this February

Pregnancy asks a lot from the body. Things shift, energy changes, and rest becomes just as important as movement. Yoga can offer support during this time by helping you stay connected to what feels right for you.

In February, we’re offering two free pregnancy yoga sessions guided by Kirsteen. These sessions take place during the Birthlight Perinatal Yoga Teacher Training. You’ll practice alongside the course participants in a well held and supportive setting, under Kirsteen’s guidance.

Yoga for Pregnancy

Friday 13 February | 17.30–18.45
Suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy

This class offers gentle movement to support comfort during pregnancy. The focus is on simple poses, easy transitions, and breathing that helps release tension. There is space to slow down and rest, while still moving in a way that feels supportive for your body.

Yoga for Labour & Birth

Saturday 14 February | 14.00–16.00
Maximum of 4 participants or pairs

This session is designed to help you prepare for labour and birth. You’ll explore practices that support comfort and confidence during labour, including breathing, sound, movement, and supported positions. You’re welcome to join with or without a partner. Practising these tools ahead of time helps them feel more familiar when you need them.

About these sessions

Both sessions are taught by Kirsteen, tutor of the Birthlight Perinatal Yoga Training. The atmosphere is calm and attentive, with close care for safety and individual needs. Places are limited, and participation is free.

If you’re pregnant and curious about how yoga can support you during pregnancy or birth, these sessions offer a gentle way to explore that support.
