Arm Balance Lab with Karina Rodak
Arm balances ask for more than strength alone. They ask for clarity in how you place your hands, transfer weight, and organise your body in space. The Arm Balance Lab was created to give time and structure to that process.
This four-week workshop series is guided by Karina and offers a progressive approach to arm balances. Each session builds on the previous one, allowing your practice to develop through repetition, understanding, and steady exploration. The focus is on technique, awareness, and learning how to move in and out of poses with control.
How the series is structured
Each week centres around a specific set of arm balances, so you can explore them in depth and see how they relate to one another.
Week 1 | March 15
Arm Balance Lab: Crow and Side Crow
Week 2 | March 22
Arm Balance Lab: Eka Pada Koundinyasana I and II
Week 3 | March 29
Arm Balance Lab: Flying Pigeon and Grasshopper
Week 4 | April 12
Arm Balance Lab: Pincha Mayurasana
By working with related poses each week, the series helps you recognise patterns in balance, strength, and coordination rather than approaching each pose as a separate challenge.
What to expect
Karina’s teaching is clear and attentive, with space for individual adaptation. You’ll work with progressive sequences that support strength development while refining how you enter and exit poses. The pace allows for learning through practice, without rushing toward outcomes.
The series is suitable for students who want to understand arm balances more deeply and work with them in a consistent way. You don’t need to already master the poses. Curiosity and willingness to explore are enough.
