Teacher’s tip: Finding Your Teaching Voice

In the beginning, teaching often means repeating what you’ve heard. That’s natural. Many new teachers start by using phrases from their own teachers. But at some point, you want to speak in your own way.

To find our teaching voice, start with learning to recognise the language that already lives in your teaching. By practising to notice what’s useful, and what might be adjusted, you can learn how to spread your cues through the class in a way that supports attention. On October 17, Nele offers support in this during the workshop “Finding Your Teaching Voice”. In this workshop, she encourages you to teach from what you see, not from memory. That shift often leads to more presence and more ease.

Nele also has a simple tip you can try right away! Find it in her video invitation below.

And join her workshop on October 1.7.
