Meditation Class & Courses

Discover the art of mindfulness and presence in our weekly drop-in meditation class, guided by two experienced and compassionate teachers, Dana and Joyce. Each session weaves together their complementary approaches: Dana draws inspiration from the rich tradition of Buddhism, while Joyce integrates the practical and accessible methods of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), focusing on mindfulness in everyday life.

Adding a unique dimension to the practice, Dana incorporates elements of Yin Yoga, while Joyce introduces gentle somatic movement, helping you connect with your body and prepare for meditation.

Sessions may include:

  • Guided meditation

  • Silent meditation

  • Walking meditation

  • Gentle movement

  • A brief dharma talk offering Buddhist insights

These elements work together to help you cultivate self-awareness, release stress, and deepen your connection to both body and mind.

Rooted in a shared intention to awaken your inherent goodness and presence, Dana and Joyce create a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to refine your practice, this class offers a nurturing space to slow down, reconnect, and discover the transformative power of being fully present.
