New class styles with Simon
Simon is introducing two new class styles to the weekly schedule: Fluid Power and Shanti Flow. Both are rooted in continuous movement and embodied awareness, but each meets the body and nervous system in a different way.
These classes grew out of Simon’s years of teaching and his ongoing study of prana vinyasa, kundalini, and conscious movement. The focus is not on forcing shape or effort, but on learning how movement, breath, and attention can work together more intelligently.
Fluid Power
Fluid Power is a dynamic vinyasa practice that stays responsive to the body. Strength is present, but it is not driven by pushing. Movement is guided by breath, with smooth transitions that allow the practice to unfold as a continuous flow.
Rather than working toward fixed shapes, the class invites you to stay connected to sensation. There is space to feel how strength and flexibility support each other, and how pauses can help the body integrate what is happening. Each practice develops in response to the group, while still allowing room for individual rhythm.
Fluid Power is suited to students who enjoy moving with intensity, but want that intensity to feel connected rather than effortful.
Shanti Flow
Shanti Flow moves at a slower pace and carries a quieter tone. The practice is grounded in lunar vinyasa and focuses on receptive movement that stays fluid and alive. You are guided to listen more closely to weight, gravity, and breath, allowing the body to open gradually.
Movement remains continuous, without long static holds. This creates a sense of calm continuity, where the flow itself becomes meditative. The class supports nervous system balance and emotional ease, while still maintaining clarity in movement.
Shanti Flow is suitable for all levels and can be especially supportive when you’re looking for grounding and a softer way to move.
