NEW: Comprehensive Mat Pilates Teacher Training
with Tanya Shiels
Most Pilates teacher trainings underprepare you for real world situations.
This one doesn’t.
This in-person Mat Pilates Teacher Training is for people who want to actually know what they’re doing — and feel confident teaching real bodies in real rooms.
Over 12 training days, across 6 weekends, you’ll build the skills, understanding, and presence needed to teach Pilates with clarity, adaptability, and authority.
The training is supported by structured self-practice, teaching, and observation hours — because good teachers aren’t created by weekend intensives alone.
If you want depth, precision, and practical teaching skills (not just scripted cues), you’re in the right place.
Who is This For?
This training is for you if you want to teach well, not just teach fast.
It’s perfect for:
People ready to start a professional movement teaching career
Pilates lovers who want more than choreography — and are ready to understand why things work
Physios, bodyworkers, and healthcare professionals who want smart, adaptable movement tools
Mental healthcare professionals exploring the addition of embodied, nervous-system-aware movement to their offerings
Personal trainers who know strength alone isn’t enough
Reformer teachers who feel they missed the foundations and want to rebuild properly
Why This Training is Different (and WE think superior)
A strong focus on group teaching based on accessibility and inclusivity
Clear tools for teaching mixed-level classes without losing control or confidence
More contact hours with the lead trainer than comparable trainings (by far)
A dedicated pregnancy Pilates workshop taught by a true specialist
Individualised feedback throughout the course
You’ll learn how to think, see, adjust, and respond
— not just demonstrate.
What You’ll Walk Away With
This training doesn’t just give you information. It gives you confidence.
By the end of the program, you’ll be able to teach Mat Pilates classes to real, mixed-ability groups with confidence, and adapt exercises on the spot for different bodies, needs, and limitations. Plus:
Incorporate anatomy in a way that informs your teaching, not overwhelms it
Express your teaching voice in a way that is clear and grounded
You won’t leave trying to remember a script. You’ll leave knowing how to teach, adapt, and lead.
