XL: Nectar Yin Flow & Somatic Movement Journey

With Simon Rowe

Breath becomes a current.

Movement becomes meditation.

There's more to Yin than stillness.

During Nectar, we go on an immersive journey into fluid Yin and somatic movement, exploring the deeply restorative effects of yin in motion. Here we explore movement as something we feel rather than something we do. As we soften out of effort and into feeling, we enter into an intimate conversation between breath, sensation and movement. Come and discover how gentle, nourishing movement can be medicine — a natural way to reconnect with the intelligence of your body.

In fluid Yin, breath becomes a current.
Movement becomes meditation.

Yin is a quality of energy — and energy flows, pulses and moves. Fluid Yin explores Yin in motion, allowing movement itself to become a pathway into deeper embodiment, inner listening and rest. Rather than beginning with stillness, we move our way towards it. We open to the flow of somatic movement and, like a river flowing into a serene lake, naturally arrive in vibrant stillness — a quality of quietness that is deeply alive, subtly pulsing with prana.

Yes…there IS more to Yin than stillness.

Modern fascia research adds another dimension to this exploration. Our connective tissues are living and responsive, continually adapting to movement, stretch and mechanical load. Fluid Yin works with this natural responsiveness through gentle, varied movement — nourishing the body through motion as well as stillness.

This movement journey gradually settles into a deep somatic sound relaxation, weaving sound, voice and guided relaxation to give the body time to absorb and integrate the practice.
Afterwards, we invite you to stay for tea and snacks, with space to connect and ask questions about the upcoming training.

Simon’s Yin Flow teachings have evolved over the past 15 years, drawing on his studies of lunar flow and movement meditation, alongside his ongoing exploration of fascia research and the relationship between movement and healthy fascia.
