This 3.5-hour immersive practice supports the seasonal shift from autumn’s descent into winter’s quiet restoration. Through Elemental Yin Yoga, guided Yoga Nidra, reflective inquiry, and a deeply restorative sound meditation with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, participants are invited to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with their inner stillness. This journey offers space to release accumulated tension, reflect inwardly, and prepare the body and mind for winter’s restorative rhythm.
Rooted in the elemental movement from Wood to Fire, the immersion invites participants to reconnect with the body, regulate the nervous system, and explore how energy is naturally shifting within and around them during this seasonal threshold.
Seasonal transitions offer powerful moments for reflection and renewal. This Seasonal Immersion: Transitional Journey is a 3.5-hour contemplative practice designed to support the shift from autumn’s gradual descent to winter’s quiet restoration.
Rooted in the elemental movement from Metal to Water, this immersion invites participants to slow down, conserve energy, and turn inward during a time when the external world often becomes increasingly busy. The practice creates space to release what has accumulated throughout the year and gently prepare the body and mind for winter’s inward rhythm.
This journey unfolds through a carefully held sequence of practices including grounding arrival, Elemental Yin Yoga, guided Yoga Nidra, and sound meditation with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls. These practices support deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and spacious awareness, allowing participants to reconnect with the body and settle into a quieter inner landscape.
Lichun will also introduce reflective tools she uses in her sound therapy work with individuals, helping participants explore themes of resonance and resistance while deepening self-awareness. Throughout the immersion, participants may be invited to gently inquire:
What do I need to let go of?
What is asking for rest?
What would support deeper restoration?
Participants carry this awareness into the meditation, allowing the vibrations of the singing bowls and the quiet stillness of the practices to support integration, insight, and subtle shifts in awareness.
This immersion emphasizes restoration, inner listening, and gentle reflection, offering a supportive space to slow down, recalibrate, and enter the winter season with greater clarity, balance, and ease.
