XL: Ashtanga Yoga Full Primary

Join this XL Ashtanga Yoga workshop with Marilou and deepen both your practice and understanding of the Full Primary Series.
While regular led classes typically conclude at Half Primary, this extended session offers the opportunity to explore the postures of the second haf that follow and gradually work towards a Full Primary practice.
Together we will break down each posture step by step, discussing alignment, transitions, modifications and the purpose of the poses within the sequence. Along the way, we will revisit the essential elements of the Ashtanga method—breath (ujjayi), bandhas, and drishti—and how they support a steady, focused, meditative and embodied practice.
Whether you are relatively new to Ashtanga or have been practicing for years, this workshop is designed to help you build confidence, refine your technique and deepen your embodiment of the practice both on and off the mat.
